While spending some days in Glendale, I wanted something that would be close to homemade. After looking for a place to park (no parking lot), I came in. As soon as I walked, I was greeted by a nice lady. She was so attentive that I felt like I was at my tia's house. She must have thought I was a local that she kept on telling me about other plates they offer. She kept on checking to see if I needed anything else she even brought me some chiles asados to have with my food. I can't say enough about the service I have received. The food and the place give it a homey feeling. I will be back.
First time going and that was it. We kept going back for the like 3 days straight lol food taste like home... thanks you to everyone there and the other guests are just so cool.
Underrated Mexican spot hidden in Glendale. My partner n I used to come all the time when we lived near and they still remember us when we come every once in a while. They make it feel like home.
Cash only, hole in the wall place that you need to visit for excellent chilaquiles. Nice refried beans and rice.
Small, simple mom & pop restaurant in Glendale. Fast & friendly service and excellent food! A few chairs for dine-in, but mostly cater to orders to go. We both had the burrito poblano with carnitas and salsa verde. It was the best burrito I’ve ever had. It was filled with pork and enough rice & beans to make it great without overwhelming the carnitas. Topped with melted cheese and served with green & red salsa on the safe. We took ours to go and I added some sour cream on top. Absolutely delicious!
Superb service I felt like I walked into my tias house. The lady at front was so sweet and welcoming she recommended a lot of choices to choose from. Decided to get the pollo la plancha plate and their jalapeño con queso tamale. Let me tell you so freaking worth strolling around walking around the area and so satisfied the food reminds me of my tias cooking. Wanted something kind of close to hitting home. If you are ever in the area gotta support your local mom and pop shop. Everyone that works here is amazing def recommending this to friends and family be sure to check them out
You want Mexican home food? This place is it. Order what you think a Mexican mom would make for dinner and not what you order at Taco Bell and you'll have delicious lunch. The service is always great but do plan to take out and enjoy in a nearby park.
